2 Natural DIY Nail Masks For Remedial At-Home Manicures

Updated: Mar 29, 2021

Most of us forget to exercise due care for nails. When the feeling of self-reproach towards your nails deepens, we end up buying unnecessarily expensive nail care oils or paying dollars to have a manicure. With the organic and accessible formulas I will mention, you’ll no longer blow your money and time on nail salons or useless products. These 3 will be enough to get glamorous and healthy-looking nails.

Warning: If you have a nail-biting habit, you should give up on perfect nails. There is no possible way to transform bitten nails into well-groomed nails in seconds unless you use fake nails. Each day, everyone stands out with their nails. And, the two masks below will make you get one step closer to your dream nails.

Before giving you a few tips that you can apply at home, I want to share a product I have been using these days. If you have a busy working schedule and you do not prefer to go to the nail salon because of the pandemic, I recommend you to use this product.

The product I use is the cuticle revitalizing oil of Cuccio. It has a huge bottle and lasts longer than many other products. I applied this 3 times around 25 minutes every day. The results were amazing!

The speed of my nail growth increased immensely, I had brittle, dry nails and they all changed with the moisturizing and softening formula this oil has. The natural ingredients inside nourish your cuticles and purify your nails from dead skin and whiten them. I started using this product and yes it is an ideal product to save your day if you do not go to manicure and pedicure regularly. Now, I enjoy having great nails which cost me only $9.

Time to DIY!

1. Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is insanely beneficial for nails. It will strengthen your nails with regular use. Thanks to the vitamins C, E, and K, our nails get more resistant to external factors.

Vitamin E is an indispensable vitamin for nails, and this is why it can be found in most quality hand creams. For this reason, you should pay attention to the vitamins that the cream contains and whether it is natural or not.

And it is not even that hard to find; you can buy coconut oil at affordable prices online or in local shops.

2. Lemon Juice and Olive Oil

Lemon is a preferred fruit because it increases and accelerates collagen production. Collagen is a protein that provides vitality and flexibility to your body.

Squeeze 1 tablespoon of lemon into a bowl. Then, add 1 teaspoon of olive oil and mix them. This mixture is crucial for the repair and nourishment of your nails. Because of the plenty of antioxidants olive oil contains.

It will be enough to leave your nails for about 5-6 minutes in this mixture. You might not see much difference in the first application, but I can say that it works in regular use.

Remember that everyone's skin structure is different. So, if you feel any burning sensation on your hand due to the acidity of lemon, wash your hands with warm water immediately.

If you have tried any of these, we will be glad to see your comments and thoughts about them.
